1. Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, Apple/Google sign-in identifiers, display name.
• Meal photos: images you capture or select for nutritional analysis.
• Health & fitness information: weight, height, age, goals, and activity level you provide, plus step and workout information from Apple Health or Health Connect when you choose to connect it. Source health data is read on your device to infer an activity level; we store the inferred activity level, not the source records, on our servers.
• Meal & AI usage data: meal logs (foods, calories, protein, fat, and carbohydrates), food searches, AI Coach questions, and correction instructions.
• Purchase information: subscription product, entitlement, and purchase or restore status. Apple or Google processes payment-card details; we do not receive them.
• Usage & device data: in-app interactions, crash and performance information, app/OS/device type, user or installation identifiers, and push-notification tokens.

2. How We Use Information

• To perform AI nutritional analysis of meal photos and display/record the results.
• To store, aggregate, and visualize records, provide personalized nutrition targets and suggestions, and deliver notifications.
• To authenticate users, verify purchase entitlements, manage usage limits, and prevent misuse.
• To analyze usage, fix issues, monitor performance, and improve quality.

3. Third Parties & External Transfers

• Google (Firebase / Google Cloud / Vertex AI): We use Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, data and image storage, notifications, usage analytics, and crash/performance monitoring. Meal photos and nutrition-label images are sent to Google's generative AI (Vertex AI Gemini) for nutritional analysis, and results are returned.
• DeepSeek: For text AI features such as food search, AI Coach, and corrections to meal analysis results, we may send food names, questions, correction text, and related meal-log content you provide.
• Billing providers: We may use Apple/Google and a subscription management service (e.g. RevenueCat) to verify purchase status.
• We do not sell or share personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

4. Data Storage

Collected information is stored on infrastructure such as Google Cloud / Firebase. We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to help prevent unauthorized disclosure, loss, or damage.

5. Retention

We retain user information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, and prevent misuse, or until account deletion. When an account is deleted, we delete its associated data and stored images except where retention is required by law or a legitimate business need.

6. Your Rights

You can review, correct, and export records or delete your account and associated data in the app. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your information by contacting us below.

7. Age Requirement

The Service's personalized nutrition targets are intended for users aged 18 or older.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy as needed. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this website.
